Buffalo soldier art

A visual history of the African-American western experience

Another Westerner is the studio and online presence of artist and visual historian, Kay K. Little, Sr. The primary focus of this site Kay's series of artwork that depicts the story of the buffalo soldiers, black cowboys , black native americans and other interesting chapters of the Great American West.

Kay is well known region wide for his efforts to use his artwork to teach students and others about the buffalo soldiers and black cowboys. He also teaches fine art to students of all ages.
